Denver is called the "Mile High City" because the city sits at 5,280 ft above sea level, which is just over 1600 meters for you Ausi's!

It's important to remember the effects of altitude when traveling to Colorado. The air is thinner, the sun is stronger and there can be big changes in temperature!

Tips below can be helpful in helping you prepare for our beautiful Colorado Wedding:

1. Drink water! Start hydrating the week before the wedding, especially if you're coming from out of state.

2. Go easy on the drinking. Alcohol hits harder at elevation.

3. Wear sunscreen. Yes, even in winter. Denver boasts an impressive 300+ days of sunshine and with the thinner air the suns rays are extra intense

4. Bring layers to the events. Daytime temps could be as high as 60F and drop below freezing at night. Considering we will be partying well into the night, we want you to be comfortable to the very end!

5. Cannabis is legal in Colorado. You might smell it, you might want to try it! Please keep in mind the above information if you choose to indulge.
